Rochester's New Approach To Reducing Crime: Focus On Violent Offenders :: 06/26/2021

For a guy who lives in Virginia, I’ve written quite a bit about Rochester, New York this year. There was the arrest of Mayor Lovely Warren’s husband on drug and gun charges earlier this year, which came just days after Warren herself had complained about the number of “illegal guns” on the street (Warren recently lost her re-election bid, losing in the Democratic primary to a Rochester city council member). Then there was the “gun buyback” in the city hosted by New York Attorney General Letitia James, who swore that the compensated confiscation event would make the city safer.

Delaware Democrats Demonstrate Absurdity Of Magazine Bans :: 06/25/2021

How many rounds does it take to turn a “standard capacity” ammunition magazine into a “large capacity” magazine? The truth is, there is no one answer. In California, it’s 10 rounds. In New Jersey, it used to be 15 before it was lowered to 10 rounds. In Colorado, it’s still 15 rounds. And in Delaware, Democrats are arguing amongst themselves over what the definition should be.

No one expected Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards to sign the constitutional carry bill that’s been sitting on his desk. Blue Dog Democrats — if that’s still a thing — often say they are strong supporters of the Second Amendment. They always say the same thing: they aren’t looking to ban or confiscate our firearms. They simply want “common sense” restrictions (which are nothing more than infringements on our God-given right to keep and bear arms).

Wray had expressed on more than one occasion her fears to her husband that Katie had firearms in her home. Wray’s husband was not dismissive to these thoughts, however he would respond that they’re “professionals” when it comes to firearms, and it just comes with the territory. After the loss of Katie, Wray blamed “the gun”.

Attacks On Preemption Really Attacks On All Gun Rights :: 06/23/2021

Preemption is a wonderful thing when it comes to gun laws. While the ideal state is one with no additional gun control laws, the truth of the matter is that such states are fairly rare. However, when a state has gun control laws and every community can enact their own gun control as well, you create a nightmare scenario for those who travel within a given state.
