FOAC's Weekly Message For Sunday November 28th 2021 :: 11/28/2021

In 2011, FOAC pioneered the writing and introduction of Constitutional Carry to the Pennsylvania legislature (as we have done with many bills) with the intent of making Pennsylvania a more constitutionally free and safer society! One of our board members, Rep. Aaron Bernstine, introduced Constitutional Carry in the House of Representatives last session and this session (HB 659) and was joined this session by Sen. Cris Dush (SB 565).

As I’m sure you know, SB 565 passed the Pennsylvania Senate and House of Representatives, in bipartisan fashion in both bodies. To see how your legislators voted, check out the links below:

**House Vote on Final Passage: (11/16/2021)

**Senate Vote on Final Passage: (11/9/2021)

SB 565 was presented to the governor on November 22.

Now, just ‘one man’ stands between a safer society and the restoration of a freedom that was taken away from Pennsylvanians 90 years ago in 1931, JUST ONE MAN! The Gov. has three ways he can deal with this legislation; he can sign the legislation into law, he can ignore the legislation and after 10 days it becomes law, or he can veto the bill.

I’m NOT going to kid you, while the odds for this bill becoming law are against us, considering how the current Gov. favors the anti-gun groups and their wealth of lies against the lawful use of firearms and personal self-defense, that does not mean that we should stay silent and NOT exercise every legal option we have to put pressure on the governor for him to realize that every day Pennsylvanians are deeply in support of bringing this measure to Pennsylvania and that he represents ALL citizens. All of us know that you can’t win every battle but we are gauged by our willingness to fight to the last breath, tradition/reputation that Americans have throughout the world! So, if you haven’t communicated to the governor your support for this legislation yet, I strongly encourage you to use the contact info below to register your opinion and position:

(*You can also use the drafts above to send into your local newspaper too, if you would like!)

The anti-gun groups and many Democrats continue to froth at the mouth about this becoming law, just like they were doing in 1988 with the License to Carry legislation then and with FOAC’s Castle Doctrine for 8 years. Their track record of lies and misinformation continues even though CeaseFire PA and Mom’s Demand Action have been shown, repeatedly, to be well-funded liars with all their dogmatic claims!

Our history is replete with examples of individuals taking a stand when it appeared hopeless such as the Texas fight at the Alamo amongst many others. In each case, history has shown how these courageous stands have led to ultimate victory and the fight over this legislation is just as important!

We are asking you to continue to honor our Founding Fathers and the historical tradition of ‘standing our ground’ to ensure that elected officials do the ‘right thing’. I get told all the time that politicians don’t ‘DO’ anything, well now the House and Senate have and it is time for US to shrug off all the excuses and apathy and stand up and be counted by telling Governor Wolf to recognize the duty he has to ALL the people of Pennsylvania.

Put Yourself in the Shoes of a Legislator Moment: What Would YOU Do With Comments THIS Stupid, uninformed and Self-Righteous????

One PA House Member shared these comments that were received regarding their positive vote ‘for’ SB 565, Constitutional Carry! Many people complain about politicians BUT ‘imagine’ that you were this legislator and had an ethical duty to represent ‘all’ constituents!

Constituent Comments ‘exactly as received’ below:

On another note, I would also like to share my disappointment that you and other members of the general assembly voted to pass Senate Bill 565. I accept the second amendment and an individual's rights to own firearms. However, I believe unregistered and concealed

weapons makes us all less safe. Even the editorial board of the Post Gazette is in agreement with me. In Pittsburgh, yesterday two 4 year olds died in separate incidents when I suspect hand guns were not properly secured. I know many gun deaths are caused by criminals who acquire guns illegally, but there are many guns in the hands of lawful citizens who may not be not properly trained and educated in the safe use of firearms. I am a former NRA trained safe hunter, so I am aware of the need for gun safety education.

I am well aware of your position on the the executive power that enables our governor. I am thankful he has the power to veto this reckless legislation.

Thanks for your time and your hard work

*******

IF you ever wondered about the impact of the media (Geez, this person quotes the Post-Gazette?) and how shallow some citizens are, look no further! This is precisely how we have had our Freedoms violated over the years! All too often, 2nd Amendment supporters operate in what is called an Echo Chamber where we only talk in comfortable circles. This is why we need to step out of our comfort zone and go into the public to discuss these issues in an informed way.

IF you want your legislator to support the Constitution and Freedom then it is up to us to donate our time to educate our fellow citizens in support of that goal and to be as informed as possible when doing it! Please don’t wait for someone else to do it and the time is to start NOW!

The Rittenhouse Travesty: America on Trial

Traditional Americans were relieved when Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted of all charges in the Kenosha, Wisconsin murder trial. But given the lies told about the case in the media and even by members of the legal profession, who should know better, it has become obvious that more was on trial than Kyle Rittenhouse: At stake was our system of justice, the Second Amendment, and even American individualism.

So, ask yourself, WHY was there such widespread dishonest news coverage of the case against him that his acquittal by the Kenosha, Wisconsin, jury came as an unwelcome surprise to so many? For example, anti-gun so-called comedian Stephen Colbert's comment ("If he didn't break the law, we should change the law") shows he's ready to throw out centuries of long-standing legal precedent and tradition regarding the ancient right of self-defense.

Could it be because so many in the media have been portraying those violent rioters in multiple cities in the summer of 2020 as virtuous peaceful protesters and those who tried to prevent violent destruction of property as vicious white supremacists.

Take for example how the media portrayed Jacob Blake as an innocent bystander accosted at random by trigger-happy cops. There was an outstanding warrant for his arrest for an alleged sexual assault. Nonetheless, President Joe Biden took time to talk to him on the phone and visit his relatives as he was campaigning for president in Wisconsin.

There were even more lapses, inaccuracies and lies in the coverage of Rittenhouse's trial for shooting three protesters, two fatally, during a night of rioting in Kenosha.

A seemingly unending chorus of media talking heads, so-called expert guests and journalists complained nearly universally, as if scripted, that Rittenhouse, then 17, was not part of the Kenosha community and that he crossed state lines with a gun to get there. Antioch, Illinois, where he lived, is right on the Illinois-Wisconsin border. But he didn't take a gun across the line. It was stored in Kenosha, just 20 miles from Antioch, where his father and other relatives live.

It was troubling to hear the cries of dismay when the Kenosha jury voted unanimously to acquit Rittenhouse of murder and the other charges against him. Hearing that makes one wonder if that is what was heard at the Salem Witch Trials????

Anyone paying a modicum of attention to the evidence at the trial could see the video footage showing the three men Rittenhouse shot attacking him with deadly weapons. One could see the person who survived admit on the stand that he had aimed his gun at Rittenhouse before he was shot.

One could also easily learn things about the three assailants he shot. For one thing they were all white, contrary to news reports and implications that they were Black. One had been imprisoned for sexual conduct with preteen boys. A second had been jailed for violating probation after strangling his brother. A third, who survived, was unemployed and a member of a group called the Peoples Revolution and was carrying a firearm illegally and never charged by the very DA’s who sought his testimony, hmmm…...

"That crowd was full of heroes," said prosecutor Thomas Binger in his summation to the jury in Rittenhouse's trial. Rittenhouse's offense was interfering in a government condoned breakdown of society that would have made Stalin smile. I suspect history will regard the massive demonstrations starting in summer 2020, despite a lack of evidence of a sudden increase in unjustified police violence against Black people, as a dark episode of humanity gone wild and politically driven, agenda inspired violence to facilitate societal change.

As usual, the American public understands this better than the chattering class of two-dimensional social media dweebs: Pollster Scott Rasmussen reports that 43% of Americans say Rittenhouse did stupid things and only 22% say he committed murder.

Biden Administration Goes Underground on Gun Control Efforts with Help from Media Allies

Despite our warnings, amongst numerous other group’s warnings, 10 months ago Joe Biden was seated as the President of the United States. In that position he has managed to excel in pushing gun control beyond even our wildest nightmares! It is clear, that our capacity for forecasting exactly how bad he would be for the Second Amendment and what his administration is doing to make it very difficult and costly for people to possess, purchase, and use guns has been getting exponentially worse with each passing day.

No one wants rogue gun dealers selling guns to criminals, but that is not who Biden is going after. His zero-tolerance policy for gun dealers will put gun sellers out of business for the most trivial, non-consequential paperwork mistakes. Who could have federal agents going over the last ten years of their paperwork trying to search for even the most trivial paperwork errors?

There is talk that the Biden administration is actively considering reviving Obama's Operation Chokepoint program, where the federal government pressures private financial institutions not to do business with gun makers and sellers, that will make it much more costly for them to remain in business.

Those are just two of the draconian regulatory actions that Biden is taking. Biden is also getting federal judges confirmed to both the Circuit and District courts at a record rate — twice the rate of any president since at least Nixon.

Further, the multi-trillion dollar entitlement spending bill has money to push states to adopt red-flag laws, which sets the stage for judges to seize guns without a hearing or mental-health evaluation.

But the battle continues on yet another level, with Biden promising to spend hundreds of millions of dollars pushing gun control research by public health activists. Sources tell FOAC that Biden and his anti-gun Dems are planning to spend over $100 million on those studies to push gun control just over this next year. The same people who provided us with advice and predictions on the Coronavirus are the same ones he will be distributing massive amounts of our money for biased gun control research.

You and I know that violent crime has increased this last year. You don't have to look hard with drug gang members not being charged with crimes despite being caught on video and witnessed by police murdering and wounding people. Couple that with jails releasing inmates en masse, and politicians ordering police to stand down and cut their budgets and the increase in crime is no surprise. Democrats continue demonizing law enforcement at the same time they actively work to prevent people from protecting their families and themselves.

Democrats clearly don't understand this. Biden has given three major addresses on violent crime. But while he mentioned gun violence or guns 148 times, he mentioned policing just four times, and one of those was about police enforcing gun control laws. Not once did he mention prisons or prosecutors. You would never know 92% of violent crime has nothing to do with guns.

This year, the CPRC (Dr. John Lott’s Research Center) has shown serious errors and biases in the FBI's reports on active shooting incidents. The media portrays each mass public shooting in the United States as a reason for more gun control. Pundits and politicians act like this type of violence is a uniquely American problem. Gun-control supporters preach that if we can only get rid of our guns, we will stop having mass public shootings and be more like the rest of the world.

There is a tidal wave of federal government spending as well as spending by Michael Bloomberg and George Soros, that isn't going away, pushing bogus research demonizing private gun ownership and pushing gun control. The media then does its part by uncritically reporting the findings of these studies. Ultimately, this shapes legislative debates and conversations across the country at the state and federal level.

Gun control advocates have gotten so extreme that Michael Bloomberg's anti-gun newspaper, The Trace, has begun arguing that we should begin disarming the police. Incredibly, these people also say that permitted concealed handguns have the potential to be stolen and fall into the hands of criminals.

Another aspect of Biden’s Gun Control Agenda is expanding government databasing of gun dealer records.

Many Americans have rightly become concerned over a somewhat obscure ATF recordkeeping regulation that has a profound impact on gun rights. If gun control advocates get their way in changing this federal regulation for the worse, altering how ATF maintains these records, and are successful in criminalizing the private transfer of firearms, American gun owners would find themselves subject to what amounts to a backdoor gun registry.

Federal law requires those who purchase a firearm at a Federal Firearms Licensee (gun dealer or FFL) to fill out a form 4473. This record of the firearm transfer is then stored by the dealer on their premises. This creates a system whereby if a gun is found at a crime scene ATF can trace the firearm to the last retail purchase. However, since the records are stored with each FFL, the system is decentralized in a manner that protects against government abuse of gun owner data.

Gun dealers are required to maintain 4473s for 20 years. When a dealer goes out of business they must send their last 20 years of records to ATF’s National Tracing Center to facilitate firearm traces. Some of ATF’s materials appear to deliberately omit the 20-year requirement, seemingly in the hopes that FFLs will send all of their records to the National Tracing Center, regardless of age.

Under this system, over a million out-of-business dealer records are sent to ATF each month. Records obtained by gun rights advocates show that in 2021 ATF processed a staggering 54.7 million of these records.

ATF proposed rule 2021R-05 would make this record-keeping requirement more burdensome for FFLs and diminish gun owner privacy. Under the proposed rule, FFLs would be required to maintain 4473s indefinitely and relinquish all such data to ATF upon going out of business.

The kind of electronically searchable database the ATF is seeking to develop would amount to a partial firearm registry. And as all 2A rights supporters and gun control advocates know, firearm registries facilitate firearm confiscation.

Pay close attention to the manner in which the Government, the Press, and social media develop, implement and report on Governmental policies that slowly and increasingly negatively impact speech, gun rights, privacy, and the application of justice, in the coming months.

Why is the FBI Diminishing and Ignoring Mass Murders Stopped by Armed Citizens??

The premise of the FBI’s initial report was that a drastic increase in, as they call it, Active Shooter Incidents (ASIs) occurred between 2000 and 2013, escalating from one incident in 2000 to 17 in 2013. However, Dr. Lott’s paper indicates that the FBI failed to include twenty incidents in that time span, and that these “missing cases were three times more likely to have occurred from 2000-2006 than from 2007-2013, thus exaggerating the increase that was widely reported on.” Once these cases are included and placed in the context of pre-2000 data, it becomes evident that there “has only been a slight, statistically insignificant upward trend over the 38 years from 1977 through 2014,” and even this slight uptick is due to high numbers in a single year (2012).

Subsequent FBI reports (2015-2019) carried forward the error of missing cases. These are of particular interest as the FBI “repeatedly excludes” cases where an armed citizen had intervened. In at least six missing cases in 2018-19 identified by Dr. Lott, a concealed handgun permit holder stopped the attacker, including an incident in Tumwater, Washington in which three concealed carry permittees confronted and killed an attacker. Another case in 2018 had been counted by the FBI but without indicating that a private individual with a concealed handgun permit stopped the attack. (Details of all of the missing cases are provided in the paper.)

These amendments to the FBI statistics give a considerably different view of interventions by individuals with concealed carry permits.

For more information on this troubling pattern of misreporting of the facts by the FBI, see the links below:

It seems appropriate to ask why there is this gap in reporting all of the facts!? Leaving out these key details leads one to the inescapable conclusion that there is an active effort in suppressing the effectiveness of law-abiding citizens defending themselves even in these tragic situations of mass murder of events!

Overall Status of 2nd Amendment Legislation Filed to Date in PA and the US:

2021-2022 Session PA State Bills (updated)

  • Pro-Gun Bills: 27
  • Anti-Gun Bills: 75
  • Unrated (Watching): 14
  • Legislative (gun related) Memos: 122

2021-2022 Session Federal Bills (updated)

  • Pro-Gun Bills: 43
  • Anti-Gun Bills: 105
  • Unrated (Watching): 38

1st Point to Ponder:

The average number of victims killed by the mass murderer is 2.3 when armed civilians intervene. Waiting for the police adds another dozen fatalities. That phenomenal reduction in body count is not because armed civilians are supermen; it is because they are there when they were needed. Unfortunately, preventing a mass murder doesn’t sell newspapers, so the media hardly covers it.

2nd Point to Ponder:
Politicians have always used their power to punish their political enemies.

At one time, England allowed Protestants to go armed while Catholics were disarmed. Early America was slightly better since it allowed free white men to go armed but not freed black men or indentured whites. Recognizing the right for the common man to bear arms was a revolution in its time since as it allowed more than the nobility to be armed.

We’ve yet to fully accept that lesson. Today, some states only allow judges, politicians, and billionaires hired security guards to go armed in public. Those are today’s nobility and their hired knights. Too bad for the serfs who are attacked on the streets at night.

Meanwhile, our lords say one thing while they do another. They reserve the right to go armed when, where, and how they choose. Several weeks ago we had a Democrat Alderman in Chicago arrested for having an illegal machine gun. The news media didn’t ask him, but I’m sure the alderman needed his machine gun for “public safety”.

That is what the nobles always tell the serfs and that is why the nobles love gun control and hate the 2nd Amendment!

FOCUS on Recent Federal Anti-Gun Legislation: Jaime’s Law – Mandatory Background Checks to Purchase Ammunition

Jaime’s Law, which is named for Jaime Guttenberg, who was killed in the Parkland shooting, is formally known as HR 2715 in the House of Representatives and S 1237 in the Senate, would require background checks for ammunition if enacted. The sponsors of this legislation, Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) and Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), are no friends of the Second Amendment. The legislation was introduced in the last Congress and went nowhere.

This is a parallel line of attacking the 2nd Amendment through the soft underbelly of the vulnerable areas of gun ownership that doesn’t come with gun bans. They continue to come up with all sorts of bureaucratic hoops to jump through to exercise your Second Amendment rights. At the same time, corporate entities in the financial sector and Silicon Valley continue to consider their own forms of gun control. On the legislative front, we will see all sorts of other schemes to come after our rights.

"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." Winston Churchill

Gun Law Myths: Gun Control Myths: How politicians, the media, and botched "studies" have twisted the facts on gun control

Selected Excerpts from Dr. John Lott’s book - Chapter 2 - that reveal a few of the many aspects of how anti-gunners lie and why this book ‘should’ be on your shelf:

….

A Vox article has gained the spotlight for illustrating America's "unique gun violence problem" in 17 maps and charts. 1 Before my CNN appearance with author Gene Lopez in March 2018, Lopez bragged to me in the green room at CNN that his graphs had been used in high schools across the country and viewed some 30 million times.2

…..

There are many countries that have higher gun homicide rates than the United States, but simply don't report the data. Many of these countries satisfy the membership criteria of the OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development).

Although 192 countries report total homicides, only 116 of them report firearm homicides. 4 Among countries that don't release firearm homicide data, their combined homicide rate is 11.1 per 100,000. This is far above both the US rate and the global average. If these high-homicide countries were to report their firearm homicide rates, they would almost surely outrank the US.

Homicides include not only murders, but also justifiable homicides in which civilians or law enforcement officers kill in self-defense. In the five years from 2011 to 2015, the US experienced 11,577 firearm homicides and 8,786 firearm murders.',6

The gap between these two numbers is much larger in the US than in other countries. So, comparing homicide rates gives a more unfavorable impression of the US than if we looked only at murder rates.

Murder isn't a nationwide problem in the United States; there are vast swathes of the country that don't experience any murders. It's only a big problem in certain urban areas. In 2014, the worst 2 percent of counties accounted for 52 percent of the murders. • Five percent of counties accounted for 68 percent of the murders. Even within these counties, there are large regions without any murders.

Clearly, drug gangs have been major contributors to the violent crime problems in America's cities.

…..

The popular press likes to compare crime rates in different places at the same point in time. Gun control advocates often compare the US and the UK, pointing out that the UK has both stricter gun control and lower homicide rates than does the US. Omitted is the fact that the UK's homicide rate rose after its gun control laws were enacted.8

…..

Academics are aware of the limitations of such simple comparisons. To understand Ike effects of laws,

Gun control advocates such as Vox never mention that every single time that guns are banned — either all guns or all handguns — homicide/murder rates rise.' This is a remarkable fact. One would think that just due to random chance, one or two countries would have experienced a drop in homicides after banning guns.

*****

FOAC Note: IF you want to fight for the 2nd Amendment ‘and’ defeat the anti-gunners, it is imperative that you have the facts at your side to unravel their lies. THIS BOOK does that and can make you a winner in any debate and is ‘highly recommended’!

Government Entrapment by Unintentionally Violating Laws: New Jersey Gun Buybacks

Freehold, New Jersey – -(AmmoLand.com)- The matter of so-called gun “buybacks” needs to be visited every time some feel-good politician or civic leader thinks it’s a good idea to host one of these events. Aside from the fact that they are not effective, in New Jersey they’re illegal. From a somewhat recent study, we have the following information on gun “buybacks”:

Over the last decade, over 100 U.S. cities have adopted GBPs with the hope of reducing gun crime. Using data from the 1991-2015 National Incident–Based Reporting System (NIBRS) and National Vital Statistics System (NVSS), this study is the first to comprehensively assess the impact of city GBPs on gun crime and firearm-related violence.

Our findings provide no evidence that GBPs are effective at deterring gun crime, firearm related homicides, or firearm-related suicides in the short- or long-run.

Moreover, we find some evidence of a small, short-run increase in gun crime in the two months following a GBP. This result is consistent with the notion that GBPs primarily target low-risk firearms that are more likely to deter crime than be used in the commission of a crime (Kuhn et al. 2002) and with the hypothesis that some criminals may be emboldened by their perception that victims will be less likely to defend themselves with deadly physical force (Lott 1998).

Concerning the legality of “buybacks”, or as Cam Edwards calls them compensated confiscation programs, there are several New Jersey laws people need to be aware of on the possession of firearms:

Gun Control Group’s Lies to Remember: Giffords Gun Control Group & Kyle Rittenhouse Trial

Giffords Law Center tweeted the verdict was a perversion of justice, writing, “Kyle Rittenhouse wielded his whiteness as a shield and his AR-15 as a weapon in the streets of Kenosha.”

For Giffords, the case was all about identity politics. In this case, Giffords chose race. They ignore the fact Rittenhouse’s attackers, against whom he defended himself, were all white. They also ignore that African-American gun buyers grew by 58 percent in 2020.

How Freedom Dies: Attack the Right to Dissent and the Right to Keep and Bear Arms

The most insidious attack against the American citizen is the subtle—the attack on the psyche of the American people.

The Socialists and Leftist Democrats have attacked the very core of the American psyche in its assault on natural law rights:

These socialist social engineers are charging directly at our most formidable defense to be sure—the Bill of Rights. But these faceless minions are determined to break through, destroying the Constitution of the United States, annihilating a free Republic, subjugating a free and sovereign people.

Evidence for this is everywhere, including the following:

  • Government acquiescence to violent rioting, and looting in the Nation’s cities.
  • A systematic plan to indoctrinate the Nation’s youth with “Critical Race Theory”.
  • Constraints on the exercise of Free Speech/Intolerance toward Dissent.
  • Violations of Due Process and Equal Protection Guarantees.
  • Violations of the Right Against Unreasonable Searches and Seizures. [Red Flag Laws]
  • Unlawful Government orders and mandates, such as mandatory COVID Vaccinations.
  • Failure of Government to Enforce the Nation’s Immigration Laws.
  • Debilitation of the Military: Purging of the Ranks, Politicization of Upper Echelons, Creating Dissension, and Destroying morale.
  • Consolidation of Governmental power in a single Branch.
  • Expanding Federal Government power over the people and the States.
  • Emasculation of State and Community Police Forces.
  • Politicization and Corruption of Executive Branch Departments.
  • Deliberate Destruction of the Nation’s Economy.
  • Collusion between the Government and the Press to Distort News and to indoctrinate the public. [Fake News Media]
  • The defacing, destroying, and removing of national monuments.
  • Denigration of the American Flag and other national emblems.
  • Belittlement of the notion of “Citizen of the United States”.
  • Ennoblement of Marxist Lawbreakers and Illegal Aliens.

And most ominously,

  • Concerted Attacks on Civilian Possession of firearms and of the inherent, natural Right of Armed Self-defense.

The most fundamental Natural Law Right - the Right of Self-defense - includes the Natural Law Responsibility of Self-defense. Armed Self-defense provides the best means available to protect one’s physical being and that of one’s family.

Closing Thoughts: Is the American ‘Cup’ Half Full or Are We Losing Confidence in the Pillars of Our Nation?

Like us, many fellow citizens appear to have come to the conclusion that professional sports, academia, media and entertainment were no longer content to sit on the sidelines but have become far left and deliberately hostile to traditional American values.

For the first time in memory, conservatives now connect the FBI hierarchy with bureaucratic bloat, political bias, and even illegality.

In the last five years, the FBI was mostly in the news for the checkered careers of James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Robert Mueller, Lisa Page, and Peter Strzok. Add in the criminality of convicted FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith and the failures to stop violent criminals and even mass murderers such as in Parkland Florida.

The colossal FBI-driven “Russian collusion” hoax was marked by the leaking of confidential FBI memos, forged documents, improper surveillance, and serial disinformation.

Conservatives have always been amused by the liberal biases of the old network news and big-city print media. But they grudgingly admitted that many liberal journalists of the last century were mostly professionals. News divisions mostly reported the news rather than simply made it up.

Not so now with Big Tech and 21st-century “woke” journalism. Few reporters have yet offered apologies for helping hatch and spread the Russian collusion hoax that paralyzed the country for three years.

Few have admitted culpability for reporting as fact the various fantasies surrounding the Duke Lacrosse team’s prosecution or the Covington Catholic kids deception.

Most recently, reporters spread serial untruths surrounding the Kyle Rittenhouse trial.

The American criminal justice system also used to earn the respect of conservatives. Prosecuting attorneys, police chiefs, and big-city mayors were seen as custodians of the public order. They were entrusted to keep the peace, to prevent and investigate crime, and to arrest and prosecute criminals.

Again, not so much now.

After 120 days of mostly unchecked riot, arson, looting, and violent protests during the summer of 2020, the public lost confidence in their public safety agencies.

District attorneys in several major cities—Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and St. Louis—have often predicated prosecuting crimes on the basis of ideology, race, and careerism.

In the current crime wave, brazen lawbreakers enjoy de facto immunity. Mass looting goes unpunished. Indictments are often aimed as much against those who defend themselves as against criminals who attack the innocent.

Many conservative Americans appear to have now have lost their former traditional confidence, (as the exercise of the 2nd Amendment now shows) in the administration of justice, in the intelligence and investigatory agencies, in the nation’s military leadership, in the media, and the criminal justice system.

No one yet knows what the effect will be of half, or more, of the country losing faith in the very pillars of America ‘or’ if it will ‘ever’ be able to be restored.

We rely on spirited, Freedom Loving Pennsylvanians like ‘you’! Your contribution of $500, $100, $50, or whatever your means allows, will let us make a permanent difference in the gun control debate.

Remember: FOAC is fiercely independent. We are not affiliated with, nor do we receive any money from, any national organizations. No sugar daddies. No New York billionaires. Memberships and individual donations are our only source of income.

Without ‘your’ help, and that of your friends, as a member – we will NOT be able to defend the 2nd Amendment. The more members we have committed to making a difference, the greater FOAC’s impact in the legislature. By working together and making our voices heard, not only can we show the billionaires and their lapdogs that they don’t stand a chance in Pennsylvania, we can push through legislation that further restores and protects our rights.
