White House 'home rule' stance only applies to restrictions and controls :: 03/31/2015
“Gun laws that are made by the District of Columbia should be made by the District government,” oxymoronically-named White House press puppet Josh Earnest advocated. “Home rule is important.”
He was referring to a bill to ease up on DC gun laws. God forbid people there actually be allowed to buy a gun without a ton of infringements, and further be allowed to carry one outside the home!
To keep that from happening, Opposite Day “progressives” (what else do you call people who pose as egalitarians but then undermine the unprecedented power-sharing enabled bv the Second Amendment?) resort to the fraud of “home rule.” To get away with it, they’re relying on enough ignorance to allow them to suspend the mandate that the Constitution is the “supreme Law of the Land.”
After all, if they can do that for 2Am why not enact “home rule” on other rights? If they’re to be consistent, why shouldn’t tolerated privileges reflect the predominant cultural and religious sensibilities of local inhabitants? Why shouldn’t edict enforcement be able to put community needs ahead of those who obviously have something to hide? Why should a person’s selfish interests stand in the way of the truth? And why should an imperialist Eurocentric patriarchy be the final arbiters of what is “cruel and unusual”?
“I know what works in Chicago may not work in Cheyenne,” Barack Obama admitted back when he wanted people to focus on deceptive words about the Second Amendment and keep them from noticing his disproportionately large “but.” The thing is, that still doesn’t stop him and his cadre of fellow would-be rulers and useful idiots from including Cheyenne in their plans for total control.
When he says he wants to ban “assault weapons,” do you ever see him acknowledge that some places be left unmolested? How about “gun free zones” or “universal background checks” or...?
And it’s not just guns. Do you see any places getting a “home rule” exemption on Obamacare? Or voter ID? Or ...
Those pulling the fraudulent “home rule” deception never acknowledge the concept exists anywhere when the object is to ease up on totalitarian control, do they? What is evidently meant by the term is they intend to rule every home, in “Everytown.” And what’s obvious is they have no intention of letting you rule in your own home or on your own person.
