West Virginia Self-Defense: Man involved in Randolph County shooting on the run :: 07/03/2019

West Virginia police are continuing to search for Paul David White after he allegedly broke into the home of his ex-girlfriend Jessica Durham on Sunday afternoon.

Witnesses told police that White pulled into Durham's driveway and left his vehicle with a gun. White allegedly pointed the gun at the witnesses and told them there is no reason to die today.

Investigating officer Cpl. J.R. Wince says there was a history between the two.

"There was a restraining order on file. There was quiet an extensive history between the two; the victim and the suspect," Cpl. Wince said.

Cpl. Wince says that state police are still seeking information about White.

"We have had a few people call in from different areas of the county and surrounding counties claiming they have seen him, but those have not been substantial yet," Cpl. Wince said.

While he is injured, State Police say White is still considered armed and dangerous. If he is sighted, contact State Police as soon as possible and do not approach him.
