Donald Trump said Thursday that he has a “license to carry” and that he has a concealed carry permit.
Trump, when asked by Hugh Hewitt if he owned a gun said, “I’d rather not say.”
Later, when discussing the definition of assault weapons, Trump said that he wouldn’t give an exact definition “and if you want to ask that, I would go to the experts.”
Trump did though define his stance on the Second Amendment saying, “I am totally a Second Amendment person and totally in favor of not doing anything” to increase firearm regulation.
