These Recent Number of Shootings in Chicago Prove That Gun Control Is Worthless :: 10/19/2019
With the two recent mass shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, the debate over gun control has been reopened once again.
Pretty much every Democrat is for super strict gun control, even Joe Biden now because he’s a presidential candidate and to make sure you don’t get attacked by the rest of the wolves, you’ve got to go along with what they are harping on so you don’t look like a Republican.
Well, us conservatives know that gun control does not work and that is only hurting the law-abiding citizens of the country.
Just take a look at Chicago from this past weekend:
47 people were shot in Chicago and 4 of them died. Chicago is known for having some of the strictest gun laws in the country and it’s Democratically controlled, yet the city is terrible.
The worst part is that that’s not even the worst numbers recently. The weekend prior to that 53 people were shot and 7 died.
According to Breitbart,
The Chicago Sun-Times reports that the fatalities included a 16-year-old boy who was shot dead while sitting in a car in Little Village, a 19-year-old man who was shot dead in Garfield Park, and a 29-year-old man who was shot dead in South Chicago.
The fourth fatal shooting was of a 47-year-old man who was killed while sitting in a vehicle in Humboldt Park. The man, Douglas Tate, was struck twice by gunfire and taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
On August 11, 2019, Breitbart News reported that six were wounded Sunday morning when a gunman opened fire in Garfield Park. CBS Chicago reported the gunman opened fire from inside “a light-colored sedan” about 2:47 a.m. The would-be victims “were standing in a large group,” and five women and one man were wounded.
It seems like such a no brainer to us that criminals don’t care about gun laws because they don’t obey the law. Hence, why they’re called criminals…they commit crimes. But the Democrats need a way to gain more power over the people and the next step for them to do that is disabling America’s citizens as soon as possible.
Sure they can’t do it all at once, but rather step-by-step, and that’s what they’re gradually trying to do.
