The Obama Administration is Trying to Control Your Guns AND Your Speech :: 06/12/2015
As we’ve written, Barack Obama was never a “Constitutional Law Professor” and we seriously doubt he’s ever even read the Constitution. After all, he did attribute a quote from the Declaration of Independence to the Constitution in a SOTU speech. And, if there’s two things Obama, and the Left in general, hate it’s our right to own and carry a gun and our right to criticize the government.
Which brings us to the latest attempt by the United Nations to create one world order. The International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
The US Department of State just published a notice in the Federal Register that could ban you from posting or discussing anything related to guns or ammunition without getting the OK from the federal government. Don’t get the OK and it’s $1 million and 20 years in jail.
The NRA has noted that “gunsmiths, manufacturers, reloaders, and do-it-yourselfers could all find themselves muzzled under the rule and unable to distribute or obtain the information they rely on to conduct these activities.”
In addition, ITAR regulators could block reviews of new firearms, discussions of firearms related subjects, technical discussions about guns, 3D printing, and even self defense programs.
This proposal is still in the early stages. Please let your CongressCritter know that you oppose ITAR. The United Nations doesn’t give a damn about our Constitution and unfortunately, right now, neither does the American government.
Don’t let them get away with it.
