Texas Self-Defense: Police Say Houston Auto Repair Shooting Was Self Defense :: 03/10/2016
A shooting at IBD Racing, an upscale auto shop, was in self defense, police say.
The shooting happened around 11 a.m. Monday at 10541 FM 1960 W #300 in Houston. Police say the intruder, who was shot dead, may not have been in the right place.
Witnesses say he was not a customer, but entered the shop looking for someone. The suspect was also angry and started threatening staff and customers.
Police say the owner feared for his life when he pulled his weapon and shot the suspect. The owner also possesses a valid concealed carry license.
