Whenever we read articles like this one, our blood boils. What ever happened to common sense? Perhaps the Spanish philosopher was correct when he said "el sentido comun es el sentido menos comun" (Common sense is the least common of the senses) You read the article and then ask yourself what you would do if that was your son or daughter who used a firearm to protect himself, and didn't even have to fire a shot, and then was treated more harshly than a 6 time loser. Hmmm, we thought Kalifornia had a 3 strikes law?
