Seems Gun Laws Don't Apply if You Advocate For Gun Control :: 09/27/2016

Gun control is the only law that points to its abject failure as reason to have MORE gun control.

Not only does it do nothing to stop actual criminals, but the blatant disproportion to which it gets enforced is disgusting.

If you go through the archives of Bullets First  searching for people being railroaded you will see numerous examples of otherwise law abiding citizens getting jammed up because of some asinine law that culminates in the gun controllers ultimate objective, to try and harass law abiding gun ownership out of existence.

On the other hand, if you are a supporter of gun control you need not worry about actually following the law because law enforcement will happily turn a blind eye to your criminal ways were as if you were a gun rights supporter they would try and find the nearest stake in which to burn you at.

One of the most notable and public displays of this hypocrisy is when NBC journalist David Gregory knowingly broke the law and had in his possession a “high capacity magazine” (anything over the arbitrary 10 rounds) while using it to try and browbeat NRA’s Wayne LaPierre.  There was no exemption in the law for journalists and as such Gregory should have been charged with a crime that carries a $1000 fine as well as a year in jail.

Outcome?  Nothing happened.  The District of Columbia ruled that its ok to break the law because David Gregory believes in gun control.

Something more recent just happened in Oregon and once again illustrates not only the idiocy of gun control but also the hypocritical way it is dispensed.

A pastor from suburban Portland hates guns so much he took $3000 out of the churches funds to buy lottery tickets for an AR-15, with the hopes of “keeping it off the streets.”

Not for not but if I was a member of Rev. Jerry Lucas’s church I’d be mad as hell if he was going to abscond with $3K of church funds to gamble on the hopes of winning the raffle.

We haven’t even gotten to the actual illegal stuff yet.  That happens when Lucas actually wins the rifle.  Upon winning the rifle Rev. Lucas then GIVES it to a gun owning friend for safekeeping.

Since Senate Bill 941 passed last year  it is illegal for gun owners to lend, swap, buy and sell their firearms without the involvement of the government.

Rev. Lucas publicly went online and detailed all his actions and his violation of the law.

This is where the powers that be go out of their way to insure that a gun control nut like Lucas recieves no penalty for breaking the law.

But investigators uncovered no evidence that Lucas, 45, actually transferred the gun and never determined the name of the gun-owning friend, Clackamas County District Attorney John Foote said in a letter to the Oregon State Police. . . .

Lucas didn’t speak with investigators, state police said in a statement.

Without the transferee in this case, I don’t think we could ever have a prosecutable case,” Foote wrote.

Comments Lucas made to the newspaper about the transfer of the gun were “insufficient to prove that it happened,” Foote wrote.

DA John Foote is a pompous ass whose hypocrisy is so appalling it amazes me that he can see where he is going with his head shoved so far up his own butt.

Let’s break down what Foote said.  The “investigation” did not include actually talking to the person you are investigating.

Rev. Jerry Lucas CONFESSED to the crime to the newspaper.

Because he didn’t name his accomplice you don’t think you have a prosecutable case?!??!

What exactly does a person have to do in order to be charged with a crime in your district Foote?

I mean, you would think the confession itself would lead you to SOME kind of investigation.  Is this how you proceed with all crime in your district.  If someone commits a crime with an accomplice and doesn’t give them up when they confess to the newspaper you just shrug your shoulders and say “oh well, can’t prosecute him.”

I’m just going to end this article now because I am getting nauseous by all this bullshit that Foote is trying to make me swallow.

Apparently the law of the land in DC and Oregon is that if you don’t like guns you can break all the gun control laws you want.

And, if you think about it, that makes about as much sense as gun control to begin with.
