Proposed Pennsylvania House Legislation HB1564

this is an pro-gun bill   evalutation

This legislation would expand the criminal conspiracy penalties for violations listed in Title 18 Section 6105 (b). This would mirror federal guidelines.

We remain concerned that the Justice System continues to release people from prison who are still dangerous to society hoping that paper laws stop crime. If they're safe enough to be out of prison, they should be safe enough to possess firearms under the Constitution.

Legislation Overview

Title: In firearms and other dangerous articles, further providing for persons not to possess, use, manufacture, control, sell or transfer firearms.

Subject:

Description: An Act amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in firearms and other dangerous articles, further providing for persons not to possess, use, manufacture, control, sell or transfer firearms.

Session: 2021-2022 Regular Session
