Proposed Federal Senate Legislation SB591

this is an anti-gun bill   evalutation

Background checks are ineffective at best, a waste of tax dollars on ineffective systems, and an infringement on law abiding citizens' rights. Yet another way to tax firearms multiple times. Financial harassment.

Legislation Overview

Title: Background Check Completion Act of 2021

Subject: Crime and law enforcement: Criminal justice information and records: Firearms and explosives: Licensing and registrations: Retail and wholesale trades

Description: Prohibits a licensed gun dealer from transferring a firearm to an unlicensed person prior to the completion of a background check. Current law permits a licensed gun dealer to transfer a firearm to an unlicensed person if a submitted background check remains incomplete after three business days.
