Howard Stern Goes On-Air After Trump Election, Makes Shock Confession That STUNS :: 11/17/2016

Radio personality Howard Stern came out in support of President-elect Donald Trump’s concealed carry plan during his show Tuesday on SiriusXM.

During his presidential campaign, Trump advocated for a national reciprocity policy for legal concealed carry holders across the Unites States.

Stern argued this type of legislation is logically sound.

“When you think about it, if somebody is a legal and responsible gun owner, let’s say in Massachusetts, why all of a sudden when he crossed the border is he an outlaw?” Stern said.

“Because each state has to permit you to carry or not,” Stern’s side-kick Robin Quivers added. “And so when you go from state to state you are breaking the law if you continue to carry your gun. If it was national …”

Stern applauded Trump’s idea and said “it makes total sense.”

“They are saying that many people who have carry permits, the majority of them, are the most law abiding people in the country, so why not give them the right to carry wherever they are,” Quivers continued.

Stern argued concealed carry permits should be similar to drivers licenses, as anyone issued a drivers license in one state is able to drive in any state without fear of breaking the law. As the law currently stands, someone with a concealed carry permit in one state can be prohibited in another.

Stern, who has a conceal carry permit, has been an avid defender of the Second Amendment on his show. In April, the controversial radio host called the handgun the “great equalizer.”

“Think about it. If Robin was walking alone in a parking lot and two men were going to approach her with the idea of robbing and raping her, what is her only option? In other words, let’s say we took away all the guns on the planet. Now there’s no more guns. I think people would be less safe,” Stern said then.

“How else would you defend yourself against a thug with a baseball bat with a chain around it?” he added. “How the hell could you protect your family, your wife, your children, or how would a woman protect her property or prevent being raped without a handgun? It’s the only thing that equalizes.”

Even though Stern’s views on political issues are mixed, he has taking strong opposition to Democrats and their support of political correctness.

“I’ve voted Republican and I’ve voted Democrat. I have vowed I will never vote for a Democrat again,” Stern said on his show after having a fight with the Federal Communications Commission. “No matter who they are… The facts are these Democrats at the FCC are Communists… they’re for communism.”
