Gutfeld Blasts Tim Kaine for Calling for Gun Control after OSU Attack :: 11/29/2016
Tuesday on The Five, Greg Gutfeld criticized former vice presidential nominee Sen. Timothy Kaine (D-Va.) for initially blaming the Ohio State University attack on "gun violence".
Kaine said, in a tweet that was later deleted then reposted without the gun reference, that he was "deeply saddened by the senseless act of gun violence at Ohio State."
Gutfeld said the "senseless" act of gun violence was "the most sensible thing ever", alluding to the fact a young police officer killed suspect Abdul Artan with his service weapon after the Somali refugee plowed a vehicle into a group of pedestrians and assaulted others with a knife.
"It's the thought that counts, but what he said was thoughtless," he said.
Gutfeld said he was tired of "knee-jerk" responses from the Left on guns.
Artan had said that he was willing to use a billion "infidels" in retribution, Gutfeld said, and "Kaine just saw a gun."
"Kaine could've been VP-- I guess we dodged a bullet."
