Gun Rights battles being fought & won at the State level :: 02/05/2015

All across this country Americans are learning that they must be engaged to preserve their Gun Rights. We saw this first when several Colorado state senators were removed from office in a recall election after they jammed through several anti-gun laws as reported HERE.

We also saw the Colorado Sheriff's Association file a federal lawsuit against the over-reaching gun control laws passed in Colorado as reported HERE.

We saw Illinois the last state to pass Concealed Carry legislation go down as previously reported HERE.

We saw the state of Kansas leading the charge as reported previously HERE when they passed the 2nd Amendment Protection Act.

We saw that there has been a large push by many states across the country to challenge and pass laws to BLOCK Federal Gun Control legislation as previously reported HERE.

Most Recently the battles all across the country continue! Now there is an ongoing battle in Bethlehem, PA where they are working to repel a $2/gun fee as reported HERE.

Joshua Price, an attorney for Campione's and other gun rights groups, sent a letter to the Bethlehem city clerk's office in December, notifying city officials of his work in litigating gun rights violations and the new law that makes it easier to sue municipalities over gun laws.

In the letter Price said a patchwork of local gun laws serves "no purpose but to ensnare those who have no intention of violating the law but who unwarily find themselves in a jurisdiction which imposes restrictions" on rights that the state otherwise allows.

There continues to be more & more pressure and legal action being taken all across the country as seen in this article: Gun rights group sues D.C. over concealed carry laws

A gun rights advocacy group filed a lawsuit Tuesday challenging Washington, D.C.’s newly enacted concealed carry laws on behalf of three men who were denied permits to carry firearms by the Metropolitan Police Department.

In the lawsuit filed in federal court, the Second Amendment Foundation said the law’s requirement that gun owners demonstrate a “good reason” to carry a concealed weapon is unconstitutional.

How about this for a "GOOD REASON" the ......2nd Amendment of the Constitution not to mention God and the inalienable right to LIFE!

Tuesday’s lawsuit doubles efforts by gun owners to challenge regulations requiring them to prove they are under a specific threat in order to obtain a concealed carry permit.

In Wyoming there is fervor being stirred up as the result of information being reported in the below article: Wyoming House approves bill allowing guns in schools

The bill, supported by leaders of the Republican-led House, would repeal “gun-free zones” carved out around elementary and secondary schools, as well as colleges and universities.

Wyoming would not be the first state to enact such a law. Utah allows individuals with concealed-carry licenses to bring their weapons onto school property, and Texas allows teachers with such permits to do so if they have permission from the school district superintendent.

We continue to see battles being fought and won all across the country. If you own a gun or just like to shoot or hunt get involved! Speak up! Get engaged! JOIN the FIGHT!
