The antis admonish that in a hypothetical confrontation between gun owners and law enforcement or the military, a ragtag group of gun owners doesn’t stand a chance. But this week’s events show that argument to be just more foolishness from the progressive left. The organized militia and law enforcement want to go home at night. I cannot blame them. Imagine if every looter in every city was armed with a long gun of some sort. The Guard would be overwhelmed and law enforcement would probably develop a raging case of the “blue flu” since they would be well identified targets.
As we all well know, this is the true reason for the push for civilian disarmament.
