Fed up gun rights group: Time to 'hunt down' and 'expose' Republicans who are not following the Constitution :: 01/29/2015
A group of open carry advocates in Texas is ready to go big game hunting, but not with their guns.
An open carry activist group in Tarrant County has issued an edict to “hunt down the Republicans who don’t support the Constitution.”
The group, Open Carry Tarrant County, was infuriated at comments made by Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick in which he said, “Second Amendment rights are very important, but open carry does not reach to the level of prioritizing at this point. I don’t think the votes are there yet.”
Dan Patrick said there is not enough support in the Senate. What?!?!!? Not enough support for the Constitution? The job they swore to uphold? We have 20 Republican Senators. Are they listening to lobbyist and gun organizations who are pro money?…. or the people?
Well, it’s time to hunt down the Republicans who don’t support the Constitution and the Republican Platform. Then, we will expose them and help them find a new job by making sure they won’t have a chance to ever get elected in Texas again. Time to start sending these people to California.
Other Texas gun rights advocates, however, see the Tarrant County group as more of a hindrance than a help.
Former Land Commissioner Jerry Patterson said if gun bills don’t pass it is going to be “because of the Tarrant County open-carry group’s obnoxious behavior.”
