Fact Check. Saccone does NOT support HB 1010 :: 12/20/2013

An open letter sent to Dormont Mt. Lebanon Sportsmen's Club:

One of the members at the Christmas party started an inane rumor that the NRA has put Rick Saccone on the shit list because he supports HB 1010, which expands background checks. I have no idea what NRA notice he's talking about, and apparently neither does he. http://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs/legis/PN/Public/btCheck.cfm?txtType=PDF&sessYr=2013&sessInd=0&billBody=H&billTyp=B&billNbr=1010&pn=1227 click and this link will send you to the bill and its co-sponsors.

Indeed, CeaseFirePA has put Rick on their targeted list of State Reps that must be defeated in 2014. I tried to explain this to the individual, who I don't know, but he's crowing about the NRA never gets anything wrong. Bullshit, they get lots of stuff wrong. In a letter from Toomey, in response to my bitching about the extension of the Undetectable Firearms Act (no guns found, no arrests, no prosecutions), Toomey indicates the NRA supports the bill and the most recent extension.

Please get a flash e-mail out to the members that Saccone does NOT support HB 1010.

Best,

John DeLallo
