CeaseFirePA takes aim at the Pennsylvania Long Rifle :: 06/12/2014

Shira really irritates us, and if you read the comments that follow the article, apparently she's worn out her welcome with MOST Pennsylvanians. Here's our response to the liar. Predictably, it never got published.

7 minutes ago. Hold on, this is waiting to be approved by Philly.com.
  Dear Shira:
May I respectfully pass along some sage advice I got from my Dad when I was a child? "When you've found you're in a hole, the very first thing to do is drop the shovel."

You have lied when you said that FOAC wanted to eliminate background checks. The fact is, we want to save PA taxpayers 7 million a year by transitioning to the National Instant Check System and eliminating the duplicitous PA Instant Check. That's only one of many emotional appeals you make that are bereft of facts. You continue to avoid an honest an open debate with the Chairman of FOAC, because you know he will expose you for the well paid hack that you truly are. In the meantime, you can be "surprised the legislature didn't name assault rifles" as the PA firearm, as you pander to the poorly informed. Most Pennsylvanians have grown weary of your tired rhetoric. I have a copy of your playbook, and precisely how to play the media. If I had your money, I could burn mine. Go away, Shira. Honest, law abiding gun owners know that CeaseFirePA is simply another Bloomberg funded voice, with no rational reason to disarm us. You are a limp dish rag, soaked, rung out, and hung up to dry wet. And I would be remiss if I failed to remind you that you couldn't define an "assault rifle" if you were given a year to do so. It's just another silly, made up term, to describe guns that, in your opinion, look "scary".
