California Self-Defense: Los Angeles: Suspect Attempting To Rob Driver Shot Dead :: 07/22/2019
LOS ANGELES – A suspect who was attempting to rob a man was shot dead in an apparent self-defense shooting, Sunday morning.
Authorities responded to reports of a shooting in the 7300 block of South Normandie Avenue around 4:10 AM.
Units arriving on scene found a adult male suffering from a gunshot wound and pronounced him deceased on scene.
Initial reports indicate a man was sitting in his car when the suspect attempted to rob him. A scuffle ensued and the man who was being robbed opened fire in apparent self-defense.
The scene of the shooting was cordoned off while authorities continued to investigate.
