No one was injured. The burglar didn't get away with anything. "You just never know," said Sally Wagner. "You just take your chances when you do something very dishonest. Number one, go to work like everyone else!"
Wagner is in charge of the neighborhood watch group on her street.
She said she's reminding her neighbors to be each other's eyes and ears.
"It doesn't matter what time," she said. "If you see something strange, the Sheriff's Department says it's never wrong not to call."
The burglar fled in a burgundy Toyota Camry with tinted windows, his accomplice behind the wheel.
