ATN Becomes the Latest Firearms Industry Firm to Abandon California for a Better Business Climate :: 01/06/2022
What’s the fastest growing business in California? We don’t know for sure, but if we had to guess, we’d say U-Haul franchises and moving companies. The latest gun industry firm to see the value of being located somewhere other than the formerly Golden State is American Technology Network.
Better known as ATN, the company makes digital optics like riflescopes and binoculars, as well as thermal imaging gear. ATN has been located in South San Francisco. The company’s new headquarters will be in Doral, Florida.
Will the last person to leave California please turn out the lights (in order to stay in compliance with the state’s strict climate change regulations, of course)?

The move is necessitated by the rapid expansion and growth the company has seen since its founding in 1995.
