Arizona Self-Defense: Man shot while attempting to steal a car :: 04/24/2017
TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A man was shot while attempting to steal a car on Saturday.
According to Sgt. Pete Dugan with the Tucson Police Department, the shooting occurred in the 2800 block of East Manchester Street. The suspect who attempted to steal the car was armed, but the victim in the car fired at him.
The suspect fled the scene but later was driven to the hospital by a friend.
TPD said that the suspect had life-threatening injuries when he arrived to the hospital, but he is expected to recover.
No charges have been issued at this time.
