Request for Help: White House Second Amendment Petition
Date: 07/2/2019
Pro-rights blogger and long-time Second Amendment activist David Codrea spotted an egregious error in the White House's description of the Bill of Rights, where they state that the Second Amendment gives citizens the right to bear arms. This appears to be a holdover from the Obama White House, however when we have an administration promising to protect our Second Amendment rights, this error cannot be left unchallenged.

As stated by the Framers, and what every gun owner should know, the Second Amendment protects a preexisting individual right to keep and bear arms. It doesn't "grant" or "give" anything.
Since this is an easy fix that can be done by an aide in a few seconds, David has set up a White House petition to call their attention to this oversight. 97,658 signatures are required by July 27 to get a response from the White House. To add your signature, click on the link below.
