Looks like if you have 300 bucks, you might be able to secure permission from Illinois to lawfully carry there. We think the Illinois legislature has a lot of tweaking to do. We still do not like the idea of paying for a right guaranteed to us by the Constitution.

This article shows what he, a mental health care professional himself, is up against. In short, the liberal mindset in mental health is more apt to blame the gun than the violently mentally ill.

The really telling part of this article is the comment by a 2nd Ward Alderman, who insisted that policing wasn't effective. I guess he forgot about those SCOTUS decisions that say the cops only have to show up and shove the victims into an ambulance. You would think that by now the geniuses in Chicago would have figured out that honest folks with the ability to fight back actually knock down the murder rates.Here is the Alderman's quote:
