PA Governor's Race - 2014 - 2nd Amendment Rights - Corbett v. Wolf :: 09/03/2014

This race is shaping up to be a battle of divergent philosophies in many areas but perhaps the most distinct differences between these two candidates, Corbett v. Wolf, is in the area of the Right to Bear Arms (PA Constitution - Article 1, Section 21)!

Tom Corbett quickly signed the Castle Doctrine in 2010 signaling early in his administration that he supported the rights of law-abiding citizens to self-defense and to firearms ownership! If not for the ambivalence of the legislature in not moving forward our pro-gun legislative agenda, Gov. Corbett would have had the opportunity to sign into law far more areas of improvement for the numerous victimizing gun-control laws we now have here in Pennsylvania!  (For an overview of the Castle Doctrine click here)

On the other hand, Tom Wolf, has bought into the myopic agenda of Cease-Fire PA which is demonstrated by his answers to their questionnaire in the primary election. Another nail in his coffin is the fact that he and his campaign have refused repeatedly to answer FOAC's questionnaire! It is apparent that Mr. Wolf is oblivious to the importance of the fact that every legislator swears an oath of allegiance to the Constitution and in Pennsylvania that oath contains an additional measure where in elected representatives are required to "obey" the Constitution and not undermine it!

Make no mistake about it, this election is a battle between two competing philosophies, as outlined above! We encourage everyone to view the documents attached to this message and to get involved NOW!! Otherwise we could find in January that we have a newly elected anti-gun Governor [Wolf] tearing apart our constitutional freedoms backed up by an even more anti-gun, anti-self defense Attorney General [Kathleen Kane]!
