The 2015 2nd Amendment Action Day date has been set for 10 AM on May 12, 2015 in Harrisburg, Pa.    [Download & Print Rally Flyer!]

[Down Load & Print Capitol Firearm Check-In Form]

We will use this event to educate legislators on vital pro gun legislation that will affect your ‘right to bear arms’ and how firearms are sold/FFL’s conduct business throughout Pennsylvania.  These are ‘your’ rights and the more interest shown on this Action Day, the more our elected officials will notice our presence and the more impact our efforts will have throughout the legislative session.

Our 2nd Amendment Action Days continue to highlight needed improvements and modifications to Pennsylvania Firearm law. Our activism has resulted in significant improvements and protections being enacted into law such as ‘Strengthening PA Preemption law’, ‘Castle Doctrine’, ‘prohibiting the confiscation of firearms in an emergency’ and protecting the rights of hunters to carry a self-defense firearm with them when in the field and eliminating the gun ban when riding a snowmobile and numerous other needed changes.

With YOUR help we can encourage further important changes that the ‘people’ want and deserve.  After all being the 10th most restrictive state in the country on firearms (according to the Brady Campaign) certainly hasn’t stopped criminals and cop killers has it?

After the rally, teams of gun owners, with team leaders, will organize into groups and visit every State Rep. and Senator in the State Capitol to ask for their support for important legislation such as (Eliminating PICS & going to NICS), (Transportation of Firearms), (Constitutional Carry), (Hunting with Semi-Auto Firearms), (Parking Lot Firearm Carry) plus several other bills.

Everyone that pre-registers will be informed of the team (organized by county of residence) they are on ahead of time by e-mail.  We need ‘your’ help to pack the Capitol Building and Harrisburg to make this a successful event! After we visit all of the Legislators in teams, we suggest that you focus ‘your’ attention on ‘your’ Senator and House member and let them know that he/she needs to listen to the needs of their constituents.

The preferred dress is business casual but ‘please’ dress appropriately. Our appearance is a key factor in credibility. It is our desire that as you see how the team leaders present the issues to Legislators you will be energized to join in.  We want each of you to play an active part in these meetings and we encourage you to use these strategies to stay in contact with Legislators on the issues.

It is very important that each person attending PLEASE pre-register at (www.2ARally.com) and be present if you want a chance to win the prize. This helps us organize the teams in advance AND the information is strictly private! If you haven't pre-registered on the website, plan to show up early to avoid a last minute rush.

The prize will be shown at www.2ARally.com along with the downloadable event flyer, details of the event, maps to the Capital Building, plus the legislation we are looking to see passed and signed into law. Also included are some of the guest speakers invited. If you plan to arrive armed, PLEASE download and complete the firearm check–in form (available at the website) and be there by at least 9 AM to check in your firearm at the door (Commonwealth Ave. entrance of Capitol Bldg. by fountain).

Special Note About the Open Carrying of Firearms at this event!

The organizers of this event (long time PA political activists) have fought long and hard for this right.

The purpose of this event is to interact with legislators on the need for changes to PA Firearms law and to introduce a new generation to our form of activism.

We are asking ALL gun owners to act responsibly!  This means do NOT handle or point your firearms at anyone!  (This has happened repeatedly by a few irresponsible individuals over the years and will NOT be tolerated!) YOUR behavior 'will be' how ALL of US are judged and the media will make irresponsibility the headline and NOT the violations of our Freedoms that take place 'every day' in this Commonwealth!

DO come prepared to help us advance our shared belief in Freedom!  Thank you!
