State Senator Doug Mastriano (R-33) is planning a Concealed Carry Seminar on Saturday, January 25th in Fayetteville to help community residents learn more about the rights and responsibilities of gun ownership.
As part of the seminar, firearm expert Carl Hill will discuss Pennsylvania gun and concealed carry laws, and field questions from the audience. Hill has 30 years of firearm safety teaching experience, is a NRA certified instructor and serves as a training counselor. He will be joined by Chambersburg Borough Police Chief Ron Camacho.
"It is always proactive to be up to speed on current laws regarding gun ownership and concealed carry rules," said Mastriano, who represents portions of Franklin County in the state Senate. "I have no doubt that this event will feature a thoughtful discussion about our Second Amendment rights, and the process to acquire a concealed carry permit,†added Mastriano. “The seminar is a way of reaching out to responsible gun owners - - - if you currently carry or plan to carry in the future, the event will be of interest to you."
Additionally, firearm estate planning will be discussed, as well as how to safely interact with police while carrying, and how to obtain a concealed carry permit.
The free event is being held from 9-11 a.m. at South Mountain Fish & Game Club, 11547 Loop Road, Fayetteville PA, 17222. Reservations are necessary as seating is limited. Please log onto senatormastriano.com/concealed-carry to register for the event.
