PA Governor's Race - 2014 - 2nd Amendment Freedom & Corbett v. Wolf :: 10/25/2014

The PA Governor's race has become a national battleground of competing philosophys.  On one side is Tom Corbett and his support for individual Freedom and on the other side is Tom Wolf who 'opposes' individual Freedoms as embodied in our Constitution.  The most distinct differences between these two candidates, Corbett v. Wolf, is in the area of the Right to Bear Arms (PA Constitution - Article 1, Section 21)!

Tom Corbett quickly signed the Castle Doctrine in 2010 signaling early in his administration that he supports the rights of law-abiding citizens to self-defense and to firearms ownership! (For an overview of the Castle Doctrine click here)  He is going to sign HB 80 which will help end the defiance of local governments who pass illegal local gun laws.  (For an overview of HB 80 [Preemption Law Changes] click here)  If not for the ambivalence of the legislature in not moving forward our pro-gun legislative agenda, Gov. Corbett would have had the opportunity to sign into law far more areas of improvement for the numerous victimizing gun-control laws we now have here in Pennsylvania!

On the other hand, Tom Wolf, has bought into the narrow minded, biased agenda of Cease-Fire PA which is demonstrated by his answers to their questionnaire in the primary election. Another nail in his coffin is the fact that he and his campaign have refused repeatedly to answer FOAC's questionnaire! It is apparent that Mr. Wolf is oblivious to the importance of the fact that every legislator swears an oath of allegiance to the Constitution and in Pennsylvania that oath contains an additional measure where in elected representatives are required to "obey" the Constitution and not undermine it!

Make no mistake about it, this election is a battle between two competing philosophies, as outlined above! We encourage everyone to view the documents attached to this message and to get involved NOW!! Otherwise we could find in January that we have a newly elected anti-gun Governor [Wolf] tearing apart our constitutional freedoms backed up by an even more anti-gun, anti-self defense Attorney General [Kathleen Kane]!
